Dutch Soccer Academy Overnight Camps

DSA will be offering two weeks of overnight camps. Students will be lodging at the University of Maine at Presque Isle and at Northern Maine Community College. Students spending the night at NMCC will be shuttled to UMPI each day.

The first week, June 27-July 2 (Sunday-Friday), is for students entering grades 5-12.

The second week,  July 5-9 (Monday-Friday) is for grades 7-13 (entering college).

The goal of our overnight camps is to unite players from different regions and create a competitive and exciting soccer atmosphere for students to play and learn. We will expose our players to the exciting European soccer culture with our world class international coaches. Our students will be challenged by playing with other students of compatible ability and passion for the game of soccer.

We teach soccer by playing soccer and simplifying the 11 vs 11 game.  Our licensed professional instructors will create various soccer situations in which our students are taught to make their own decisions and play with confidence. DSA students will leave camp with the knowledge and skills they need to continue developing throughout the year. Each player will receive a custom training program that will aid them in their practice time at home.

DSA Advanced Camp

High school players may sign up for additional training during our residential camps at no extra cost.  Students signed up for our advanced camp will learn how to train their bodies for maximum soccer performance and decrease the potential for injuries during the season.  Through soccer specific conditioning and strength training exercises, players will improve their speed, agility, and soccer endurance.  Students in our advanced camp will also have the opportunity to play in a match with our coaches, many of whom still play professionally in Europe, to experience soccer at a different level.

Students signed up for our advanced camp should come to camp physically fit and ready for a challenge.  This program is excellent for high school players who are serious about improving and playing soccer in college.  It will prepare players for the physical and mental demands of the collegiate game and ease the transition.
